Nice little free app
It's a cool app that's free and I do like it. Just some of they apps key words need fixing. Also a free army list builder (basic) would be nice even if it was blanks and you had to fill it out. Also it would be nice if you could buy the older books that are now OOP but you can have them for memories or artwork etc.
Also would be cool to have an artwork area that you could buy for your phone wallpaper etc
I bought the generals handbook, the app updated to its current layout and now I don't have the handbook anymore, I have tried restoring all purchases, but no joy. I can't work out how to get it back
Good - 2 a point
Am really loving the app - it's good and has all the info that I could want. Potential improvements - on the Azyr, with the filter, a more simplified filter would work better, or have an alliance filter before the one you have - additionally once selected the filter remains in place after you've selected a unit.
Also perhaps a digital code or a way to unlock already purchased hard copies (my case GA - Death) I have this hard copy and will not pay again for what I already own, but want to access on my phone.
The app is looking much better now, I hope you can update the screenshots as the current ones are old.
I find that buying battalions when you have the book is quite unfair, I expect that you find a way to give people who own the physical book the option to download the contents they own without further costs
I would like an option on Azyr to export the army in text mode, so I can text message friends without the need of sending a PDF all the time
I would like a simpler way to see warscroll information from within Azyr so I dont have to go back to the warscrolls menu and search for the unit I'm looking in Azyr
A cleared way to restore purchases from different devices
Not really a free app
If you want to use any useful features like the army builder you will need to pay a sub/ fee. You're better off just using the generals handbook and gw site.
Really useful on iPad

This app is perfect for accessing war scrolls with ease and reviewing rules mid game. I still recommend buying he books as well in case you run out of battery mid game though D:.
I have a few gripes; sometimes the app forgets I've paid for some content, but usually figures itself out; most importantly the new disciples of tzeench book has locked me out of all the tzeench deamon war scrolls I had been using for my be'lakor army which is really annoying!

Top app, incredibly useful and intuitive!
Great but currently buggy on generals handbook
Love the app but keeps crashing on me in ios10 and not letting me read the generals handbook I purchased through the app. Please sort. Or at least supply purchasers with a separate copy to view in iBooks for when this happens.
Great, with issues.
I absolutely love this app and always refer to it when needed but currently it crashes every time I try to load up any book from the 'Gaming Aids' section, especially annoying when I need to check points costs.
Improving all the time...
To make it 4 or 5 stars, I'd like to see the following:
A code in the hard copy books to unlock content in the app.
The option to have more than one 'Battle' in the app; I have more than one army and I'd like to keep them here without having to delete and re-add them each time
Full army construction functionality, with points, the option for battleline selection, etc. I'd be happy to pay a small amount extra for this.
As an aside, a 'tactical objective' implementation for AoS would be great, with an app to go with it like the 40k one!
Great concept, mediocre implementation

Bought paper generals handbook. App asking me to buy it again to use points. Disgusted.
Lots to like about this app, but weak performance on loading scrolls with black screens, inconsistent filter dependencies, poor war scroll proofing, no download all button, my battle armies poorly ordered and no confirm on accidental clear all. This app could easily be improved and as one of the daily use client facing parts of AOS it is lacklustre at present. Would be hugely improved by auto stat sheet for selected battle scrolls, giving name, movement, wounds, save, bravery, attacks at a glance for ALL units. It's slightly painful navigating to the right pages on a war scroll quickly for units interacting.
Good, but room to improve
Love the access to rules, and the "My Battle" feature is a great way to track what you have. Interface could be better: adding a Search would be great, and a way to hide content you don't own (I have the books and it clogs up the screen with locked warscrolls!)
Good start, keep making it more user friendly and customisable! (wound tracker etc?)
This would be a great app but i cant seem to zoom in properly on the text. Its very clumsy and wont scroll when zoomed. So i cant make use of the text at all unless i screen shot the page and zoom in through the pic in my camera album. This needs fixing.
Excellent app, but...
... Most recent update, with the zoom feature, seems to be broken. Having trouble zooming in and out now. Still, really handy app, and I appreciate the links to the GW shop added in with the latest update.
This app is a nice thing to have if you are into Sigmar or just getting into it like myself.
What would be a really nice feature is if the app had a shop section where you can look at and review the models themselves and perhaps a basket tab.
Although I would likely spend a fortune, it would be nice to open the app read about, view and purchase models from it.
Please change new unit layout
This is a great app, however the newer units stats do not appear well for mobile users.
Rather than optimised for the smaller screen, recently added units appear to be straight copies from the Ebooks. The rich content is appreciated but very awkward to use.
Good app when it works
I have found this to be an invaluable addition to my games. In theory it makes the whole gaming experience easier and, when connected to wifi, there's no better way of accessing warscrolls quickly. Unfortunately there are still too many bugs and it is really irritating that it only allows access to scrolls when connected to the Internet. Why, when I have downloaded the scrolls, can't I view them when I'm not connected? Some... Most gaming venues don't have wifi and my iPad is wifi only. So useful and yet so infuriating!
Won't run when away from data signal
This app used to be great, though unstable.
I love being able to look through most the of the rules for free and being able to pay only a small amount to check out other formations isnt terrible, BUT and this is a massive but, the moment you take the app away from the internet (my IPAD only has wifi) it will crash on start up.
Its nice to check out the rules at home but i can't take the app to battle where i really need it at my local GW.
really like this app but still has errors i have purchased all the books and painting guide but cannot download them the only thing that works is if you press extract you get a small section of the book which is rubbish. this needs sorting soon
please update and fix this issue
One step forward, three back
The new Battlepacks, and Battleplans and Times of War are a great idea apart from having to pay again for something you already own either physically, or as an enhanced iBook for example.
Also if you already bought the warscrolls included in the Battlepacks you end up over paying over the odds (twice).
Regardless I did and no Battlepack content would download. I re-installed and thus lost all previously downloaded content. Restore purchases unlocks all the content own but now nothing will download, including the basic free ones.
Basically I now have an App where I have bought all content, that will download absolutely no content. Not fit for use or purpose, no utility or warranty. No idea why this is even allowed on the App Store.
