VPN + TOR is the only app featuring both a VPN and a TOR browser. VPN + TOR is the most secure and advanced browser that allows you to choose between the speed and ease of use of VPNs and the advanced protection offered by the TOR network. The TOR Network protects you by bouncing your communications around a distributed network of relays run by volunteers all around the world: it prevents somebody watching your Internet connection from learning what sites you visit, and it prevents the sites you visit from learning your physical location. If you use this application you will enjoy the following features for free: - Your Internet access will be tunnelled over the Tor network. - Websites will not see your real IP address. - ISPs and insecure wireless networks won't see your browsing. - You will be able to access .onion websites which are only accessible through the TOR network. - Advanced browsing capability with tabs, and popover detection and blocking. - Support for audio and video playback. If you purchase our Premium subscription you will also be able to enjoy the following advanced features: - Ads-Free experience. - Unlimited VPN Session duration. - Priority Support. • Torah cr*p since update

Since update you have to sign up to premium for a free trail on opening the app. No way to by pass the screen no matter what you press. Don't update people be warned. I get fed up of app makers like this trying to tricks up with mandatory "free trails" which carry on taking money out if we forget to unsubscribe. They think they are genius they are just thieves. You should be paid for your work but put a system where we have to watch a few adds before we start surfing each time. Done. You get paid and we get to use free. Simple.

Isn’t letting me use the app without trying the trail.
  • Keeps disconnecting

Would be great if it didn’t disconnect every 30seconds.
  • Pay only

The new app has shifted to payment only use
  • Paid TOR+ VPN Browser

It used to free tor browser but latest update is subscription based and remove all free usage capabilities. When you open the browser it will ask you forcefully to subscribe or you can not enter into browser. Beware it will automatically subscribe if you enter into free trial for 7 days. Simple answer is do not download this browser and use something else which is free on the app store.
  • Ruined, no longer a private browser

It used to be a good browser. The latest update has destroyed it. I cannot access the browser without having to subscribe to a trial of their overpriced vpn. What is the point of an anonymous browser that forces you to register. All my bookmarks are now lost as I cannot access the browser

The app is making me get a “free trial” that I must pay £37 after. I can’t close it and even a reinstall won’t fix it...
  • Has gone trash

This current date (28/11/17) update doesn’t let me pass thought the subscription. Like I don’t want it and okay with ads etc.
  • Just Checking

Suddenly this app has stopped working, and only shows a subscription page. Pressing restore option asks for apple password then hangs forever. Will have to check this isn't a backdoor way to con you into a subscription. Sad, because this app used to be good.
  • What a dumb update!

I didn’t get offered the pro version for writing a review so this is my honest opinion. When I first used it, it was great. Yeah there’s be two ads to watch before being connected for half an hour but it’s been a good free VPN. Now since updating there is no way out of either restoring a paid purchase or starting a free trial and agreeing to be billed £36.99 in a week’s time.
  • New update forces subscription.

New update won’t let you continue without signing up for 7 days free trial and then £36.99 after. That wasn’t the case literally until I updated it just now.
  • Can't use unless you subscribe

Ok thought I'd give this a go, you can't use it unless you subscribe with the caveat that you get a weeks worth of use for free but you're going to have to cancel that subscription or be charged £36, didn't take up the subscription so don't know how painful or not that might be
  • Upgrade ruins it

  • Great for occasional use

I’ve tried a few VPN apps and found this very good for speed and getting access via other countries. I thought that TunnelBear was good too but it let me down when I wanted to access a site via UK. It just wouldn’t connect from Brazil. So far I’ve just used the free 30 minute mode but will likely subscribe to the full blown version.
  • Great app, can recommend

This is great if you need a free stable VPN. The ads kick in at each refresh connection but TBH they aren’t that long and some are quite interesting. It’s not dropped out on me and I’m getting at least 10mb. I use it to bypass gaming & social media restrictions on a locked down WiFi. Very good free app, if I get an upgrade I will report on the paid version.
  • VPN or TOR, not “+”, more like “/“

It is quite misleading in the name in my opinion, I had the impression this browser is running on VPN with TOR, but no. It is either or. The tor browser part works ok, but won’t justify the annual fee, not at all! It is for some reason almost impossible to connect tor on mobile network either, at least in my case. Even when it is connected, I check my ip on the net, although my real ip is hidden, but there is one ip checker consistently showing my ip different from the one that the app said it is using and is from the same country and only the sub net is different. It feels only 50% job done. So after one day use, I removed and unsubscribed.

It wouldn't even let me load the web browser
  • Used to be great but...

...since the recent update that added VPN, the Tor browser now no longer works for me. It fails to connect every single time. I have an iPod Touch and the browser used to happily connect 90% of the time, but no more - such a shame.
  • App crashes

As of November 1st. The app will open but is unable to connect to TOR. Earlier versions crashed endlessly.
  • Totally Fu*ked up

Why on earth would you spoil a good browser? Why? Why? If you want to sell a VPN then build another app, and don't just mess up this one. Deleted, and asking Apple for my money back.
