Peak - Brain Training Reviews

  • Love it!

Keeps my brain active, and i think it is really fun just to play every day.
  • Great app with great value.

    Great app with great value.
  • Fun

Fun games, I don't know whether they genuinely improve mental performance but either way it's interesting to see how you're progressing and which areas you can improve. I get a sense of achievement anyway. I paid for the premium as it's pretty good value, I think it's the best value compared to other games of this type, and it has the best games compared to similar apps. It's well designed and I haven't had any issues at all with the app. It's kind of addictive though. If you're looking for a brain training type app, this is the one I'd recommend.

Great app - fun daily workouts for time-poor people who want to keep their brains exercised.
  • Still some changes need tweaking

    By kalla21
When you go to compare your score it’s hard to tell which is yours and which is the one in your age bracket because the “You” and “Rest of your age group” are shown in the same colour.
  • Cool but

IT is really good but it is annoying that you have to pay to use the app all the time.the work outs should be longer but overall amazing game and great if you want to improve your emotions , mental agility and memory etc.👊🙂💜

  • Free version - good but...

    By aaaabbbbb1111444777
I really enjoying playing the game but have an issue with the comparison to other players within my age bracket. no where does it compare to length of time playing the game meaning that the longer i play, the more likely i am to be in higher percentile but not a true representation of my performance against others.
  • Mostly good, but some games frustrating

    By kungfuclayts
Most of the exercises are good and enjoyable - especially "happy river". I prefer to play games that make me exercise my brain, and this is by far the best one I've come across. However, there are 3 games that really frustrate me! "Jump control" penalises you even when your finger is still on a lit pad. "Partial match" makes no sense - several shapes are different, but you have to click 'partly' [EDIT: Please fix this game! You have different shapes saying they partly match - it's SO frustrating!] And in "word pairs", it's either too American, or whoever programmed it isn't always sure of what opposite and similar actually mean, as sometimes the choices are either wrong (if using their English meaning), or they are using the American slang meanings instead of dictionary definitions. But other than these 3 games, it's a great app!

This is honestly the best game I've ever played in my life the only the I don't like about it is that you can only play it once a day

I try to do a workout everyday. My only criticism is that the tasks can be the same for several days. In each category they need to be rotated more often. Are there any new tasks in the pipeline?
  • Can't progress at some games

    By ufomartinsvoboda
I've bought pro months ago before achievements were a thing and now it's just impossible to progress to higher level with some games because the basic achievements are really hard to obtain at higher levels of game play. Also I can't progress with Pixel Logic... Even though I end up in 100th percentile I still don't have good enough score to go from Master to higher rank. I've even wrote an email to the support, the guy promised me they would take a look into it but nothing has changed apart from new updates which make it even worse. I'll go back to 5 stars when some of these issues are solved. Also some achievements aren't just calculating at all (e.g. smileys) and for example last level of castle block scorer is literally unachievable since it requires you to score 35k but the maximum sum from all the rounds is 33k. It's like the guys do not even test the game after releasing it. After a long time of playing this game you just notice how some games are acting really weird with the achievements and that it's just not thoroughly thought through.
  • Peak practise

The games are good fun and you want to play more but very time consuming to watch the videos for a replay yet far too expensive to upgrade to peak pro.

    By Poppyarwen
Pointless to say this app is free. Only very very basic items are free. Money grabbing is boring and insulting. Just charge for the game for goodness sakes.
  • Addictive

    By Lucylasticated
Lots of variety to keep me entertained each day
  • Love Peak

    By Leesha90
Started playing peak and I loved it so I paid for the pro, 1 month to see if it was any better, and i got to say it is, so many different brain trainings, well i can say i'm addicted to it =]
  • Please fix the sound problems!!

    By N1C GK
Since iOS 11 the sound is very crackly, it is just this app so definitely not the speakers! (Original review & 5 stars as the app itself is ace! Easy review to write, but it's simple and it works! Definitely worth subscribing to 👍🏼)
  • Good but expensive

    By OliviaGeorgina
Good game but the price of premium membership is ridiculous. More people would purchase if it wasn't so expensive.
  • Another pay per play

    By Lizmuskcottage
You play once and then get charged. No good.
  • Excellent game, love it, if a little pricey

    By Dingerly Dell
    Play it most days
