  • You are using coursera offline

    By erpolak
I can’t do anything with the app as it says I’m using it offline? iOS 11 iPad Pro
  • Using the website seems more reliable

    By Okulo
I've been using Coursera for a few years and have completed 20 courses but within this app, there is no sign of having done so whilst on the website, the statements of accomplishment are all there. The accomplishment section in the app is just empty. I have not used Coursera for about a year and a lot seems to have changed and although I had recommended Coursera to friends who share my interests, the courses I recommended now incur a fee which feels quite cynical considering the Coursera trajectory.
  • A bit frustrating

    By Inshiqaq
Portal and content is absolutely great. App it self is pretty good as well however it requires you to re-login way to often which is super frustrating. Why app cannot remember my password for me? It is so frustrating that I stopped using the app altogether. Very disappointed.
  • Says I am offline and crashes

    By Pigged out
Says I am offline yet have wifi and 4g. I tried to access the course and it closes the app.
  • Doesn't work offline

    By kdeebeeee
Even after downloading all the content of a course, it doesn't work offline. This feature doesn't work as advertised. I'm on iPhone SE & up to date with operating system upgrades.

Easy to use and learn from anywhere (e.g. while commuting)
  • Ok but needs to be connected to the net

    By Oliverstanleymursisbaeforlife
Not as good as the web based version. Needs a net connection even when content downloaded on phone.
  • Top class!!!

I love this e-learning modality. Access to the worlds leading universities & professors. I would highly recommend. Thanks
  • Great for learning on the go.

    By thomasthebaker
Great for learning in the go although doesn't cope well with network outages. Starting up the app with a slow data connection leaves it hanging. Otherwise a very useful tool.
  • Good app but would be better with Chromcast

    By g.brew
Love this app. It's handy too download the app if you are expected to be offline. I think this app would be a lot better if Chromecast was built in
  • Not a piece of cake!

    By Leomina
This linguistic course is very difficult even if it is a basic course. I am giving many more hours than it suggested just to pass the first week's test. Having got through that I reluctant to get on with the second week as the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) and phonetics which is this week's focus is even more difficult. I know this is not for the faint-hearted, but it is really very technical, more that I had realised. The other course I am doing is much more enjoyable. Really not so much theory and not so demanding. The actual software sometimes is OK, but I do have reservations.
  • ID verification doesn't work

    By Finisc
ID verification is not working on my iPhone 6. When I get to the screen where I am supposed to photograph my ID, the camera doesn't actually load up.
  • Life changing Coursera!

    By Pollyego
Coursera offers life changing experiences in learning, it is just fabulous! I have loved each course, though not always able to complete them. I have learned so much and marvel at this amazing opportunity to access free courses from the best Universities in the world! This is a wonderful time we are living in! Thank you, and thank you again and again!
  • No Support for Chromecast and/or Amazon Fire

No Support for Chromecast and/or Amazon Fire
  • Great content, malfunctioning app

    By KJ Park
Enjoying the content of my first Course, and learning a lot, but the pictures don't appear in quizzes and tests, making it impossible to answer the related question. Instead I usually get a throbber. On the rare occasion where the picture does appear, it's a simple black and white graphic. Considering the video content works perfectly, how hard can it be to imbed a simple still image? My deadline's tomorrow, and I'll miss it if these graphics don't appear. (I have tried downloading the material for offline use, but it didn't help.)
  • Best app for doing a course

    By Samchannel
Best app for doing a course
  • Useful way to study

    By Peggy.791
    A good app for studying
  • Generally good : used for Machine Learning course

    By Mattematician
I'm about a third of the way through the course on machine learning and this is a great companion app to watch lectures on the go. It doesn't seem to mark watched videos as complete offline and sometimes downloaded text doesn't load the Images properly when offline. Overall good though.
  • Enabling learning for all

    By Mr Snowdon
This is my first MOOC and I started with "Learning to learn" following that I've completed "Mindshift" and am now focusing on a Full Stack development course. As an educator teaching computer science in secondary school I can highly recommend this MOOC to anyone (and do to anyone who will listen) whether you feel like you can learn easily or not. Start with "Learning to learn" it will put you onto a successful path with your aspirations and life goals.
