    Put this app on my phone last October and got to week 6 and stopped after leaving it for a few weeks, started the program again this October and started off on week 3, just done the 5k this morning for the first time and feel a great sense of achievement after completing it, as someone who up until last year never really done any running or kept up a gym membership for longer than a month or 2, it can be done so give it a try and you will be very surprised how you gradually get to a level where u can run non stop for 35 mins, thank you 5k runner for getting me into running

    Great, it's like it knows my pace already, nice little words of encouragement on the way, like a new friend whispering to you on the way round ... Try it out, pay the cash, start in the dark if you're self esteem is low to start, thats what I did, let's face it, athletes don't need this app, it's people like you and me 😬 Peace

    I used the app to start running for the first time in my early 50s. I took it at my own pace and repeated days until I was comfortable to move on. It’s taken me just over a year to get to 4K but I’m still running and feel so much better for it. 5k isn’t far off.

    After getting a bit on the flabby side running seemed impossible. The ease and structure of this app is brilliant and would recommend to anyone who wants to start but just needs some guidance.

    As a 40-something office based worker I was sedentary and generally unfit but I was recommended this app to get me up to 5k comfortably. At first I didn’t think I’d get there but this app lowers you in so gently it doesn’t let you overdo it so you get better in increments. I started about a year ago and now I’m running at least 5k twice a week and improving my times steadily. I feel generally healthier too. Highly recommended.

    I am a 5km runner, what more can I say. I started as a keen dog walker who could happily walk 20km but running was not my thing. However this app has changed that, I set a target date of an organised 5km run and I made it. Now I go out and run 5km 2 to 3 times a week, I'm not the quickest runner but I now love running and look forward to going out. I totally recommend this app, if you're thinking about doing it, my advice is go for it and enjoy.

    Many non-runners I know have seriously damaged themselves (even resulting in months of physiotherapy and hospital visits) because of not knowing or being suggest by the app to stretch before. I recommend doing your own research into stretching routines for before you run to get the most out of this app.
