Instant Heart Rate: HR Monitor Reviews

  • Not happy

    By Barbjse
Used to be good app to check heart rate but now just flashes premium service and non stop adverts when all I need is pulse check which it says is free so deleting as are many
  • Excellent

So simple to use and lots of information
  • Disappointing

    By Oughti
I have used the free version of this app for a number of years and have found it very accurate. I had an irregular heart rate and this showed it clearly and I have since had surgery to correct it. Unfortunately the app is not now giving me the info I need to do my checks. For what I want I’m not paying nearly a hundred pounds a year for it when I can get a NHS accepted monitor for less from Boots. Very disappointed.
  • Used to be great but now only ads!

    By Issy1
Don't trust the 5 star rating, it no longer applies. It was a great app some years ago, but now it's only ads, which makes it difficult to use, and trying to force us to register through Facebook or email - who wants to share heart rate?! I would have paid £2.99 for this, but now am deleting the app. Just not worth it anymore.

This APP is very useful. At the end of the day it could even save a person's life.
  • Too many ads

    By evansi70
I appreciate that app developers need to make money, but you now seem to have to go through an endless stream of ads and prompts to upgrade when using this app now. Uninstalled.
  • Find another app

    By Lillithxxx
Absolutely useless after the first three days as it then just continually asks you to upgrade which renders it unusable. Deleting now.
  • Too many adverts

    By BattenT
This used to be a great app now it’s the most annoying. Adverts attack you from every angle and there is no option to have the app without them. Thought they would offer a no adverts pay app but not even that. If you don’t mind have lots of adds interfering with you using the app then it’s OK. But not for me have found a far better app which is add free.
  • Useful app

    By Oshoosho
Good way to keep a check especially as you get older.
  • Decent app, too frustrating to use with ads and logins

    By NoiseCrime
The app isn't bad, but it won't work at all until it's registered to an email address or Facebook, which if you just want to monitor your heart rate is total overkill. Then there are the constant adverts, which if you could remove for a single small fee would be fine, but the app wants you to subscribe to a costly on going monthly service! In summary probably a decent app as long as you don't mind signing up and paying a monthly subscription to use.

Very useful I use it most days to see how I am doing.
  • Apparently I’m dead

    By Kitkatuk87
It can’t find my heart rate at all. Pointless.
  • Accurate

    By Ftfhhhjjudss
Measured mine on this app, and then compared it to the one I counted. Would recommend against your neck if you haven't got a good t
  • Great app

    By ravenlanceblade
I have had this a while now and use not regularly but always good to have on hand for a quick check up I will at some point purchase as I don't like ads but it's not an issue just the way I am Good to have a free option to try though as I have bought many apps over time that turned out to be not so good after all This is 100% worth having though for sure
  • Great App

    By CarlitaUk
When I came home from hospital after having meningitis this app really helped me keep an eye on returning symptoms thanks guys!
  • Con trick

    By Potionlady
Downloaded “free” app prepared forthe ads. Took a couple of readings and then agreed to participate in the Heart study they are linked with. Now locked out unless I upgrade to a premium service at a cost. It’s a con!
  • Too many ads

    By CSJ11
Nice app but far too many ad’s. I would upgrade to pro, but I would rather pay a one off fee rather than a subscription. As I would only use the HR bit it’s too expensive.
  • Stress level support

    By shineygolf
Easy to use and great for my individual needs
