  • First app I've ever paid for and really impressed

As title says, I've never paid for an app in over 7 years of iPhone ownership, however I'm due to have my first baby in a few weeks and have been trying to clear out my wardrobe and only keep things that will work together/still fit! Stylebook is really helpful for co-ordinating outfits and making you more consciously aware of what you use and what gets kept at the back of the wardrobe, it even gives you stats on how much items have cost per wear if you're that fastidious! My only reason for docking a star is that I find the auto edit doesn't work brilliantly despite following all the advice and videos, so I use manual edit for my own photos and find the eraser tool a bit buggy, it can take a few taps to get it to appear. My best advice is with any new items you buy go on the shop website and screenshot the photos they have of the clothes- this gives much better results!
  • Love this!

This app is so useful, really helped me think about my wardrobe differently and love the packing lists. If there was a way to embed the calendar in the packing list to more easily plan what outfits to wear on what day of your holidays that would be amazing
  • It's a good idea

It's a good idea! However practically, it's not so good. If your like me and have a lot of clothes, finding the right background, positioning the clothes and then taking the photo, editing the photo for every single item in your wardrobe is extremely time consuming and within the first 15 minutes of having the app I didn't get very far at all!! There are no faults to the app, the app itself is very good. But if your not willing to spend hours going through your wardrobe and editing the pictures, then maybe this app isn't for you or maybe not worth the £3.99. It's a good idea, it's just not very practical.

Fab fab fab! I love this app. For 'the price of a magazine' you get a great little bit of fashion entertainment. But the bit I love the best is you can try matching items in your wardrobe together... without actually pulling them all out, taking things on and off and making a mess! I just wake up in the morning, feel excited about the outfit I put together last night (only using the energy needed to operate my phone) and viola! Ready to face the day! I also love: *25 best cost per wear - which items are my best buys, nice one, pat on the back *Never Used in an Outfit - so I can make one or try and buy pieces to match *Never Logged on Calendar - so I can either schedule to wear them tomorrow or put them to donate to my chosen charity shop!
  • Game changer!

I can't believe I only discovered this app now. Setting up was a lot of work but once it's up and running it's absolutely brilliant. I'm bit of a stats geek and love seeing my most and least worn clothes. Not to mention getting dressed is stupid simple and fun... just pick an outfit before you go to sleep and don't think about it in the morning! Edit: I wish I could look up "least/most worn" within a category instead of only seeing the 25 least/most worn in my entire wardrobe!
  • If you like clothes this is the BEST app!

I love this app so much. I've really enjoyed photographing all my clothes and then putting together outfits. The app can also generate outfits automatically which is great for inspiring ideas and giving a new lease of life to items of clothing. I also use the travel section of the app to decide what to take on holiday. It's so useful and so fun. LOVE IT!!!

I love clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery, scarves, make up, underwear....shopping! But after weeks of deciding to cut back I found this app and it has really helped to make me declutter and decide on a capsule wardrobe. I now only buy things that go together and give me lots of options with half the clothes! I have always used ShopStyle so the fact that these two work together is perfect for me. So worth the money!
  • First app I ever paid for, and I'm thrilled!

I'm not into games, I have an iPad at home, but a basic phone without internet. I'm currently writing a blog about " shopping in my wardrobe", mainly about alterations I've made to my clothing to make them work for me. This app has made it much easier to see what is worth saving, by altering or cutting it up to add pieces of it to another garment. I don't have to try and remember what necklace goes best as I can save an outfit that worked previously, and I discovered that I didn't own even one pair of black trousers! ( remedied via Charity Shop). I haven't used the packing app yet, but I hate packing to travel, and making sure you have the right shoes etc to go with everything, so I can't wait! The only thing I would like to add is hairstyles. I like to wear my hair up in vintage style, but only when combined with my non- vintage clothes, otherwise it looks like fancy dress.
  • A great way to shop your wardrobe

I confess I don't use all of the features, particularly those like 'inspirations' etc, but those that help you keep track, combine and review your clothes? Priceless. I am now making better use of all of my clothes, putting them together in better ways, and identifying those that are to be culled as I realise the reason I am not wearing them is that I can't fit them in any outfit/look. It also allows me to test how a potential purchase would work (or not) with the rest of the wardrobe, as well as to identify any missing items that would allow me to complete a number of looks. The packing tool is particularly helpful as it is easier to chose outfits with items that work hard and can be used in several looks, and it provides a great packing list at the end. Finally, the statistics on cost-per-wear are revealing -and sobering.

It's a great idea and set out well but it does have its flaws. 1. It doesn't sync between devices-BIG FLAW. 2. It does crash. 3. Sizing pictures

I have had this app for several years now , thanks to I think a recommendation in Marie Claire mag . I have passed it on to many friends , you don't have to use it for just clothes , catalogue your jewellery for insurance purposes , I have even suggested a tradesman use it to catalogue his tools! One tip is when you buy an item of clothing etc take a screen shot of the item ...it is much easier than trying to take your own shot all you have to do is to clear the already white background . It can be scary though when you discover you have 30+pairs of black shoes !! No more trying to remember what you have In The wardrobe just check out your app the night before . I love it when I see a fashion spread I like and check through to see what I already have and can make up the same look without buying anything new just by putting items together that I would not have previously thought of . Enjoy

The Style Stats feature is my favourite part. I truly think that future purchases will be better value for money as a result of this information about what I wear most often
  • Finally I have my capsule wardrobe

I have been using this everyday for 4 months now and it is amazing! It has helped me find my style, reduce my wardrobe by more than a third but I have more outfits to wear than ever, it is fantastic and I couldn't live without it. I love the style stats it is so interesting. I recently have been trying to implement a minimalist lifestyle and it has helped immensely
  • Almost perfect...

I really love this app. I never pay for apps but this one was definitely worth it. I'm not into fashion and rarely attempt to put an outfit together, but Stylebook makes it much easier and has actually helped me get excited about my clothes (: The big reason I have only given it 4 stars is the way you have to share between devices. Having to manually set up your categories on each device and transfer each category separately is a bit of a pain. Also whenever a change is made to an item that needs to be transferred again. It would be so much easier if your wardrobe automatically updated with new information from other devices and I really hope this could happen in the future - although I'm not sure if it's possible. All in all I love this app (:
  • It should be five stars but...

So this app is looooong overdue and it's quite simply excellent. It's allows me to organise my wardrobe and to take inspirational looks and recreate them for myself. I intend to use the colour coordination feature at some point too. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is due to the back-end of the app. I think the app should run on a profile so that once you've uploaded data whether you log in on a mac or an iPad or an iPhone it recognises you and automatically replenishes your data. I have that for other apps but not this. For this app I have to manually amend the categories I have set up and then carry out a wifi share. If this wasn't such a good app I'd have dumped it but I shall keep on in the hope my suggestion will be taken up in a version update.
  • Addictive outfit visualiser app

Have great fun organising in a visual way without getting everything out. Has helped me make a few charity shop/sell it decisions when I can see lonely items. Gets quite addictive photographing and checking cost per wear. A few features I'd like to see. 1. Actual colours selected being used in the colour stats to better represent the actual colours in my wardrobe. 2. Further detail of item count. Keep item count but add count of clothes and accessories. Trying to make a capsule wardrobe with 20 items. Want to know if I'm on track but done want sunglasses tights and necklaces included in that count.

Excellent app, though the photo upload process could have been easier.

This is so good, I have struggled with getting up and dressed due to depression and have often ended up sleeping in my clothes and wearing them the next day, unable to face thinking about what to wear or wanting to look for clothes that will look good. Since using this app I have managed to get dressed in a nice outfit every day and it's given me so much more confidence
