    I was diagnosed with a fatty liver in April and advised I need to lose 20% of my body weight. I have achieved this and Lose it! works for me because I don't allow myself to eat anything that I haven't recorded in advance, so it makes me more mindful of what I'm eating. An excellent free app although I get bored of being constantly asked to upgrade to the paid for. Nevertheless I have recommended it to lots of people

    I’m a busy working mum of 2 kids under 5 so I don’t have time for complicated apps. This is sooo easy! It stores your usual choices so if you’re pretty regular like me, logging food is an easy swipe. Just like that. Oh and there are a wide variety of food options (by vendor or even homemade). Basically I LOVE this app! 5*

    Great app, easy to use and if you set the goals right and follow the calorie recommendations it works! I’ve lost 13kg so far. Weight loss is slower that they predict, but I guess I slightly under estimate what I’m eating each day!

    Ok, so this app isn’t a magic wand that’s going to make you lose weight - BUT - it is an amazing app to support you losing weight. I downloaded it in May and 6 months I’ve lost 3 stone simply by setting my target and balancing my intake of calories and output of exercise. It’s so quick and simple to track what you’re eating, I love the meals option so you can create your own meals and quickly record repeated meals. If you want to lose weight download this app, set your own target and track daily (whether you’re over or under) and you’ll see how you’re progressing towards your goal. Good luck!

    Good integration with Fitbit. Some errors in the listed food macros but that's because they are added by the community. Just be sure to check to see if it's sensible before you add it to your log.

    It's alright but sometimes the app doesn't work and it says there's an error w the database whenever you try to do anything (like add a food item you've eaten). It's so frustrating.

    This is honestly the best calorie counting app I have downloaded- and I have used ALOT! I love that it allows you to track you streak each day so it makes you more motivated to not break it! You can also see how many calories under or over you were in a week rather than just focusing on your days so you can compare previous weeks and not worry at all if you go over your budget one or two days in the week! Massive food database too! Absolutely fab!

    well at 55 I new i had to something. Bought an xtrainer, found this app, along with the apple watch. A new start.... a new beginning...... i have started tracking things realised where i was going wrong and bingo, exercise, a good diet, monitored has made me careful, a stone lighter in a month, regular exercise, and i feel so much better. Thank you.

    I do like using this app. Easy to use and the premium features are worth having. Just a couple of small gripes - no way to track salt by grams, have to use sodium which means converting every time I add a food. Also I’m concerned with carbs more than calories- would be good to set your own nutritional priorities. Carbs can be set as a goal so works quite well anyway.
