  • Scammy, not free, avoid it

    By Giuliano1995
    Title says everything!
  • Free LMAO

    By Nsjm
Just advertise it for the full price, don’t entice people to download then be like “Yo, thanks for downloading our free app, £50 please👌” deleted.
  • Waste of time

    By Saherssss
Don’t go for this. Instead save yourself time and money and go for Code Academy or something similar.
  • Pay £45 or don’t use the app

    By Jaz MK
I have no issue with paying for apps but I’m not paying nearly £50 for an app that gives you no real taster of the premium feature. 1: The intro is very basic, if you’re not used to thinking through problems and solving them in a logical order it’s a waste of time. Ordering the steps to make a sandwich didn’t demonstrate to me the value I’d get from completing the courses. 2: They use a dark UX pattern to get you into premium. It has £3.83 / per month in big bold letters on the button to upgrade but below has £45 in small print. I hit that and nearly used Touch ID to pay but spotted it last minute. This is really crappy practice guys, you should be ashamed. 3: The payment plan doesn’t make sense. I’d rather pay per monthly or per module. You don’t give any detail or a peek at what’s in those modules to demonstrate the app is worth paying the £45
  • Nah, sorry mate

    By worpar
Not paying £45 up front on the basis of doing a 5 min intro, especially when you try and make it look like it’s going to be a £3.80/month subscription and only mention it’ll actually be a whole year up front in a tiny footnote. Dishonest. Other resources online which do the same thing for much less or even free.
  • Seems to be a great app, but...

By MrJattski many others, wish there was an option to pay monthly. I enjoyed the tone and pacing of the first chapter, but would like to get more stuck in to the learning before paying for it. And when I do, it'd be great to have a couple of payment plans.
  • Pricy

Quite a lot for what it is
  • I sure do like free apps!

    By Heighhorse
Sure do like FREEEEEE apps! Especially educational, useful and All-round fantastic! Mimo! The wonderful FREE app that will totally not charge you £50+ just to master an extremely narrow range of subjects! Sure do love introductions that make you think you just hit heaven! And not make you pay UNHOLY amounts of money! Boy!! Telling me that a computer can't think sure tells me that I should waste the average human beings minimum stinky wage that their drop-dead boss Alec Baldwin imposing piece of dog poo uranium shards of crystal with a somehow different density to any normal cubic uranium piece would have yet the uranium is BLUE SO IT MIGHT NOT BE URANIUM URANIUM attached to a hang gliding Pizza Hut composition from Dominos rip off Charlie Chaplin state of the art Noah's ark guy! Yeah you just listened to all that did you? Tell you what, for being a good/bad listener I will give you a big secret.. Ready? Ok... the tip of life- Don't buy a game which wants you to subscribe for £50. A year. All in all, I loved the fact that I wasted 10 minutes of my life telling everyone how trashy this..thing is. Fantastic.
  • Excellent Python self learning

    By bblnr88
This is the best app I have used to learn Python at my own pace and in my own time. The explanation is clear and the tasks help you progress as you move on
  • Pricing itself out of the market

    By jordanmphoto
I have no problem with paying for content or tutorials, but £45.99 upfront for a year's subscription is ludicrous. Paying per month or per course would be more reasonable, and there is not enough free content for you to accurately access how well you're going to get on with the style and substance of the app. Such a shame.

    By What a nice day😆
If you're looking for a free app, don't download this. A lot of it is locked after the first or second lesson if you don't pay for the annual subscription.
  • Lovely

    By FahadGilani
So far so good. Just started using the app and I'm loving the tiny chunks it's breaking things into. Truly Tiny Bits
  • No thanks

    By Phil Shulkind
There's a nasty new trend for quoting a monthly reasonable price for something, then putting in little letters underneath that you'll have to pay for the whole year. Do developers not realise that they miss out on a lot of customers that way? Or are they just doing a cash grab?? You don't even get a good run at trying it. Really it deserves 0 stars
  • 5/5

    Such a helpful app. Amazing
  • Too much is locked off

    By RobertoWarn
The app itself seems wonderful - the lessons are good and the design is terrific, but there are very few lessons that you can do without paying to go premium. It seems that there are great perks to be bundled in with the premium and that it may well be worth it but without access to a greater deal of free lessons to really get a feel for the app I personally cannot in good conscience pay the £45 a year fee for full access, that's insane. It seems cheap and unfair to force people to pay in order to gain access to the lessons when other similar apps like Duolingo let you learn everythig for free. Why have any lessons for free at all? In truth, three stars for Mimo may actually be generous but I hope they change their approach to premium access in future and I can change my score to five. Potentially amazing app with unlikable premium scheme.
  • Agree all the one star review above

  • Such a good app...

    By UnicornDino
One star because it would be bloody perfect if you didn't have to pay a colossal amount just to get past the initial stages. Ripoff, just go register on codecademy instead as that is mostly free! Would not recommend
  • Could be great but....

    By beboys75016
To pay £45 upfront without even fully tested the app it is a ripped off ! Why no weekly or monthly subscription of lower amount ? Quick to install quicker to remove :(

  • Perfect for anyone interested ☺️

    By christinathowsen
Having no concrete knowledge of programming and coding from before and now having decided to study Cognitive Science, this app is such a perfect way of learning the basics and the vocabulary for it all. Not only is it good for those who wish to study programming and coding later, but simply for those who want to build an app, create a game, hack and those who are just interested in the whole thing.
