Life Cycle - Track your time automatically From the team that brought you Sleep Cycle, we've created another app that helps you automatically track your day. Life Cycle automatically keeps track of your time and presents your life sorted into slices. It shows you your daily activities, places you go, and who you spend time with. Whether you’re just curious of how your time is spent or looking to make a change, Life Cycle is your daily companion, providing you with all the information and insights you need. What’s more - it uses only 1% of your phone’s battery while it seamlessly does the work. MAIN FEATURES FREE * Automatic - Life Cycle works in the background, recording and sorting what you do as you go about your daily business. * Less than 1% of your battery per day - Life Cycle uses less than 1% of your battery per day as it runs in the background. * From a day to a year - view your life day by day, week by week, month by month or even year by year. * Fully integrated with Apple Health. Imports Steps and Sleep Analysis data. * Friends - Connect with your friends on Facebook and see who you’re spending time with, what you’re doing and where. * Sleep Cycle connection - For accurate sleep data, connect with Sleep Cycle alarm clock through Apple Health. (Life Cycle only reads data from Health, it does not share any data. It reads Sleep Analysis and Steps data.) PREMIUM * Connect to your Sleep Cycle account - If you have an online backup account with Sleep Cycle, Life Cycle will let you know how your daily habits affect your sleep quality score. * Backup - Keep your data safe with our backup system. Never worry about losing your Life Cycle logs again. * Graphs - Beyond the donuts, Life Cycle also shows you in detailed graphs for deeper analysis, what you’re doing with your time. Just by looking at the visuals, you’ll gain insights on if you're doing what's really important to you. * Compare trends - see if you’re dropping in sleep hours, if you’re working too much or if you’ve taken longer walks this week. Compare trends over the weeks, months or years. BATTERY CONSUMPTION Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Life Cycle does not use the GPS in the background, but instead relies on cell tower and Wi-Fi locations. As a result, it consumes less than 1% of your battery per day, when the app runs in the background. REQUIREMENTS * Life Cycle needs to run in the background to be able to record your data. It only uses 1% of your battery per day when doing so. * You need to carry your phone with you, for Life Cycle to accurately record and interpret your activities. * Wi-Fi should be enabled on your phone for tracking to work. The optional Premium subscription costs $9.99 per year. Should you choose to subscribe to Life Cycle Premium, the purchase will be charged to your iTunes account. You can manage or cancel your auto-renewable subscription by entering the user settings in iTunes after the purchase. The subscription will be auto-renewed 24 hours before the subscription period ends, with the same kind of subscription you already bought, to the same price. It's not possible to abort the subscription during the time it's active. Terms of service: Privacy policy:

Life Cycle - Track Your Time Reviews

  • Gone downhill.

    By mgpuffin
Until the relatively recent update, this app was very good In identifying correct locations, relevant activities and times. Now it fails so often, it is of little value or interest. I have spent much time trying to correct it so it really loses its purpose. Don’t bother. A great shame.
  • Waste of time

    By Shannimonmaa
Went premium but it says it will take 95 hours to “collect data” so I’m paying for f@@k all right now. Deleted.
  • Perfect for a data nerd

    By rockerbotrhi
I love being able to see what I've been up to and how much time I spend doing certain things or in certain places. More graphs have been added also comparing different things like how much time I am at home. Look forward to using it for longer so I can view monthly charts.
  • Deeply flawed

    By a_s_brown
This really should be a great app, but the location tracking is very poor and the result is an app that demands constant attention to correct its mistakes. It thinks, because I couldn’t park near my house once, that the local Indian restaurant is now also my house - because that’s where I ended up parking. Once. Unfortunately the free trial expired before this happened otherwise I would never have paid for it. (Yes, that’s the other thing, this is not a free app).
  • Not good

    By Kazky
This used to be a really great app, it only missed locations every so often, now it’s pretty much every week. The step count is shocking now. It was always accurate & linked with ‘Activity’ on the iPhone. God knows where it gets it’s info now, but it’s completely wrong. For instance it today I tracked just over 8k steps, this app had it just over 2k and that happens every day now. Pretty much rendering it useless. Don’t bother with this if you want any form of accurate data.
  • A must have for the efficient human.

Great tool. Productivity increase for sure. Minimal battery usage.
  • Love it, but...

    By copieg
Great app! Use it daily and it’s brilliant! But I wish they would team up with Fitbit! That would really make the app perfect in my opinion. When that day happens I’ll give it 5 stars.
  • Disappointing

    By ABC-London
I think it’s a technological limitation, but this app just isn’t accurate enough. I live in inner London and everything is just too close for the app tell the difference between being at the pub or being at home. It’s also not good when working at home because it depends on you being in different places to determine what you were doing.
  • Great potential but falls short

    By Michellemc1989
I’d love this app if it synced with my Fitbit but it doesn’t, and as I don’t always have my phone in my pocket in the house my steps always fall short on the app compared to my Fitbit. I’d also like it to prompt me to put information in about what I’m actually doing in my house. When I’ve tried to put in more detailed info manually it seems to mess up the times and doubles up time I’ve spent in the house. It also doesn’t have very accurate location info at times so I can be at my local pub which is also on my street and it doesn’t understand the difference between my house and the pub!!!
  • Highly recommended

    By P'zazz
Great fun, easy to use and helps me keep track of my work hours.
  • Very basic

    By Lolaf1
Unless u want to pay I wouldn’t bother with it very basic info on free version
  • OK. Wish it would track my phone use time

    By Roxybc
I was excited to download and try this app. I love the sister app Sleep Cycle, so had high expectations for this one. I had hoped that Life Cycle would track how much time I spent using my phone during the day to help me realise just how much I'm using it. But it doesn't do that which is a big disappointment. If you've got a regular 9-5 job I'm not really sure this app is worth it. It'll tell you how much time you've spent at home, and how much time you spent commuting to and from work, and how much time you spent at work. If you don't spend much time out of the home when you're not at work this app is kind of a bit pointless.
  • Really useful

    By Mrsnesbittlives
Good for tracking what you do in the day + how many steps taken.!
  • Fine but a little useless

    By akaruben
I gave this app 3* because there's nothing wrong with it. It's colourful, uses GPS intelligently and can tell where I've been and often what I've been doing. E.g. Work or home. However, all you can really do is check it before you go to bed and say, 'so, today I was at work most of the day and then I did X, Y & Z.' Clocking your activities is fine, but to what real end? There's no advice given or anything like that, just a way of recording your day.
  • Life cycle

    By maddieq1
Not to sure about this as I live sleep cycle and use daily .This app only shows me every once in a while what’s going on and is almost £20 a year ,so dear for your actually getting. Maybe I am not making full use of it but don’t really know what it’s actually affective for
  • Good but getting worse

    By MKK1977
It was excellent at spotting locations but somehow the recent updates had flaws in spotting correct locations.
  • Burns a hole in my battery.

    By JonnyRoobum
This apps constant use of GPS in the background killed my battery in just under an hour; from 78% to dead in 53 mins. I have no idea if this apps results are any good, it’s just unusable.
  • Great

    By Kezzy456
I love being able to see what I get up to with my time. It remembers where you’ve been and why which makes it easier and quicker to look through, and the different colours and pictures for different things really help separate your day/week/month into sections. Helps you to see how much time you spend at work, home or asleep and then averages it out as well. Also records your steps and lets you know when you’ve done more or less than your average. Great app!
  • Not enough time

    By Grannyone
Doesn’t make enough difference between time when phone off
  • Brilliant app

    By Quirky Giraffe
This has already turned into an everyday app after a week of use
