    I’ve got deep deep emotional issues from my childhood. Anxieties that I have buried so deep I forgotten they existed. They’ve meant that I’ve struggled to connect with anyone over my 25 years on this planet. I was angry to the core. I met a girl 2 years ago who changed my life. I opened myself up in ways I couldn’t with anyone else. We grew together, we loved each other. She shared her deepest darkest secrets with me. Anxieties from her past. They resonated with my own emotional issues but they also frightened me. I consoled her but I never let her in. I was a closed book emotionally. Time moved by and we started drifting apart. I intensely loved her but I couldn’t connect emotionally. I couldn’t even connect with myself. I’d buried emotions so deep I’d forgotten how to feel. Last week she abruptly broke up with me. I was devastated and didn’t know how to feel. I was thinking some really really dark thoughts. I downloaded Moodnotes on a whim. I was honest with myself and wrote down my thoughts. I started to understand my issues. It enabled me to do some real soul searching. 5 days later and I’ve opened up with my family for the first time. I cried as I discussed our issues. I started to connect with my emotions, I can literally feel for the first time. Today I connected with my friends on levels I’ve never done before. And I only have the confidence to write this comment because the app encourages me to be confident with my emotions. In 5 days I’ve gone from a cold rock to emotionally enlightened. To anyone that is angry or is suffering with emotional issues. This app is for you. Make sure you are honest with yourself and reflect deeply, if you’re not honest it will be no help. Now to go get the love of my life back. Wish me luck.

    This is a great way to track my moods and help me identify emotions. It also is a great quick journaling tool. It’s easy and helpful.

    I use this on my iPad. I like the suggestions and the encouragement to regularly review your mood and advice on how to improve it. I like that it’s a one off payment rather than subscription, which some other apps have. Is there a plan for an iPad version? It’s a bit clunky on that big screen. I would give 5 stars if there was. Thanks!

    I found this app useful in helping me to identify a thinking patterns and at reinforcing good habits since recording the effect these have on mood can help with motivation. However in some situations and especially after a bereavement it annoyed by giving me no option other than that I could think about things in a more helpful way. Sometimes the most healthy thing you can do is to feel accept and respect your feelings. It’s an aid to self reflection with some negative feelings if you suspect you have unhelpful thinking patterns so not a waste of time but a bit simplistic

    I have x3 mental disorders and with these conditions comes the attitude of I can’t be bothered ☹️but this app is simple pimple and has actually made me think I can actually keep a diary of my conditions 🙂 will post more in a couple of weeks 📆

    This app is a great way to put deal with bad feelings and thoughts when you're confused and sad. It always makes me come away feeling more at peace, more wise and calm. It helps stop those unhelpful patterns of thinking, and stops the bad cycles caused by "bad thought traps". A relief, thanks for being there for me. I know I can come to it when I can't sleep and I feel confused. Like a therapist in your pocket.

    I've had this app for nearly a week and have been using it often to track moods and feelings. It doesn't force one to participate, and is rather elegant how it encourages journaling using a surprisingly deep set of features. The more I use it, the more I want to use it. Thankyou devs for producing a little gem of an app!

    I had downloaded so many apps that I thought could help me but as soon as I saw moodnotes I HAD to buy it! It has encouraged me to look further into my life and it has helped me to understand patterns in my mood. This is definitely the best app that I have purchased! Also, the flawless design of the app makes me smile everytime I go on it 🙂 I recommend getting this app. It is worth the money!

    Lovely simple minimalist interface. Very clear and easy to use. With other apps I start off logging moods and then after a while I stop as I can't be bothered. This app lets you send yourself custom reminders and it is really quick to log data in seconds. It has been very helpful to log my mood swings and depressive episodes. It also suggests alternative ways of thinking about certain situations which helps you to see differently. Best mental health log app I have tried. Download and give it a go. It will probably work for you.

    This is a brilliant little reminder to check your thoughts and how you are reacting to them. Set a few reminders during the at and spend 5 mins just checking and reading the negative thought traps that the app pulls up for you. It's a very helpful tool to focus your feelings if you suffer from depressive tendencies. Well worth it!
